Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Venturoo LLC ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the LittleQuest mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, creating an account for, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The short version

The App is for parents and guardians to use with their children.
Subscriptions renew automatically and are billed through the App Store or Google Play; you can cancel anytime in your store account.
Keep leaderboard nicknames and any content you add appropriate for children.
Your privacy is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.

1. Who may use the App

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child whose profile you create. By creating a child profile, you confirm you have the authority to do so and to agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy on that child's behalf. Children do not enter into this agreement and do not create accounts themselves.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your family's personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

LittleQuest offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (for example, a monthly or annual Family plan). The following applies to all subscriptions:

Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Prices are shown in the App in your local currency before you buy.
Free trial. If a free trial is offered, your subscription begins immediately and you will not be charged until the trial period ends, unless you cancel before it ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation. You can cancel anytime by managing your subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
Managed by the stores. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and any refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play in accordance with their applicable terms and policies. We do not process payments and do not store your payment details.
Price changes. If we change subscription prices, the change will apply to future billing periods and, where required, only after notice and your consent as provided by the app store.

5. Acceptable use

Because LittleQuest is used by children, you agree not to use the App to:

Enter, upload, or share any content — including a leaderboard nickname — that is offensive, obscene, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate for children;
Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other accounts, or our systems;
Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to defeat any security or entitlement feature of the App; or
Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.

We may remove content that violates these Terms and may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the App.

6. Content you provide

You are responsible for the information and content you add, such as a child's profile name, a leaderboard nickname, and any custom challenges you create. You retain ownership of your content. By setting a public leaderboard nickname, you grant us permission to display it to other users of the leaderboard for the purpose of operating that feature. Photos and videos you add to the Memory Book are stored only on your device and are described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Our content and intellectual property

The App and its content — including activities, quizzes, text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by Venturoo LLC or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the App except as expressly permitted.

8. Educational and safety disclaimer

LittleQuest suggests real-world activities for children. You are responsible for supervising your child and for judging whether any activity is safe and appropriate for your child, your environment, and the circumstances. Activities are provided for general enrichment and are not professional, medical, or developmental advice.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Venturoo LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the App. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account from within the App. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the App and its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable consumer-protection laws provide otherwise.

14. Apple and Google

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and Venturoo LLC only, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content, and the applicable app store's terms also apply to your use.
